Wood Dragon Oolong Taiwan Twig Tea

Crisp mornings, cooler days, fewer hours of sun lead us into autumn. What better time to drink a low-caffeine oolong twig tea with rich, roasted notes that bring a welcome warm comfort as the seasons turn? Here are the source and steeping notes from our friends at Teance, from whom we source this tea:

Elevation: 500 meters
Varietal: Si Ji Chun
Oxidation: 15-20%
Production: 3-5 hours electric pan heat roasted
Caffeine: Medium

Simply yet thoughtfully made from only the woody stems of the tea leaves growing on Nantou area mountains, this oolong's humble beginnings doesn't limit its splendid flavor. Medium roasting brings out the fiery, nutty profile of each stem, giving it a warming, filling power. A satisfying drink with little caffeine, it's an excellent choice for evening.

Steeping Guidelines:
4g or 1T | 8oz. @ 205?F | 1.5 minute
Use a yixing or porcelain teapot. Drain completely and serve.
Please re-infuse 7 or more times.
Serves 49 8oz. cups per 1oz. of whole leaf tea
